TEN CARD FLIP
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 19, 2026
Ten Card Flip is a browser-based two-player card game. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the game.
Information processed
When you create or join a game, the player name you enter, your room code, and the moves needed to run the game are sent to the Ten Card Flip game server. The server uses this information to assign players to rooms, maintain the live game state, and send the state to the players in that room.
The game also creates a random player ID in your browser and stores it in local storage under kartenduell_player_id. This lets the server recognize the same browser after a short connection interruption and return it to its previous seat. It is not linked to your real-world identity.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide the multiplayer game, keep a room synchronized, reconnect players, and protect the basic operation of the service. Please do not enter sensitive or identifying information as your player name.
Retention and sharing
Active room and game data is held in the game server's memory while it is needed for the game. The server does not intentionally provide a permanent account, profile, or game history. Rooms and their data may be lost when the server restarts or when the room is no longer active.
Ten Card Flip does not currently use a user database, advertising trackers, or active analytics scripts. Information is not sold. The game server and its hosting provider may still process technical connection information, such as IP address and request or connection timestamps, as part of operating and securing the service.
Third-party services
Multiplayer connections use Socket.IO between your browser and the configured game server. Your browser may also load fonts from Google Fonts, depending on the deployment and browser cache. Those services may receive the technical information required to deliver their requests under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can remove the locally stored player ID at any time by clearing this site's local storage in your browser. You can also stop further processing by leaving the game and closing the page. Clearing local storage may prevent the game from restoring your seat after a reconnect.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the game's data processing changes. The updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
